Meet our amazing fAiRmily
SINCERELY, ARTISTS IN RESONANCE
Hi, we’re AiR!
We are a group of 15 musicians and friends at the University of California, Berkeley.
AiR began in 1987, when a group of UC Berkeley students decided to start a new a cappella group on campus. In the decades since, AiR has been home to many talented vocalists and vocal percussionists.
Our self-arranged repertoire spans every genre from folk to pop. In the past, we’ve performed at various events on the UC Berkeley campus, and you can often find us at gigs across the Bay Area and even LA. We have two annual showcases at the end of each semester and host an open-mic event for all Berkeley musicians in the spring.
When we’re not at rehearsals or gigs, we’re usually still singing, playing instruments, or frequenting local concerts together.
